Exceptiional built quality and reliability

The leash makes it very simple to have your camera always ready to shoot and carry around while walking around. The fact that you can easily switch from leash to cuff and the other way around due to the same anchors that are used increases the versatility of your setup and makes it fun to play around getting creative.

Solid. Nimble. Secure.

I gave this a try because I was using 10 year old quick release camera straps from another manufacturer. When I switched from full frame to the Fuji X-T5 system, I found the old straps to be too bulky for the nimble X system, and the old ones were a pain to adjust also. No more! The leash is ingeniously easy to adjust and it wads-up nicely to stow when I’m using the 150-600 with its own strap. In that situation, I leave the little disc connectors attached to the (little!) camera body, and hardly know they are there. Big smile.

It works so well on an old camera

I have an old Mamiya C3 that needed a strap but due to the shape of the lugs nothing standard fitted. Then I found this system where you put the pods on and then connect the strap to the pods. Perfect. Really well made and fantastic design.

Perfect

It was proving very hard to find a strap for my Mamiya 645. I ordered the "Leash" strap and it is fantastic.

Best camera strap ever!

Been dragging a camera around for fifty years and from the quick disconnects to being able to adjust its length on the fly, I’m in heaven. Best camera strap ever.

Fits the Canon G7X Perfectly

I bought this and was concerned about two things: Would it feel ridiculously overbuilt for my little Canon G7X, and would the anchors fit directly through the camera's eyelets? (I didn't want to add split rings, which come included.) I'm pleased to report that the strap is a good size relative to the camera, and the anchors do, in fact, fit through the eyelets with the help of a bit of dental floss. If you pass a loop of dental floss through the anchor loop, you can use it to gently tug the anchor through the G7X eyelets, resulting in a very clean look and nothing to rattle during video recording. I couldn't be happier.

Help you to ready for new challenge

As a beginner of photography, I have no idea how to choose the camera gear before meet Peak Design. Leash is wonderful product to make your camera easy to handle. It is light and even you can put into your trouser pockets. I have to say the journey of photography becomes easier by Leash.

Versatile

I purchased this leash over two years ago along with multiple sized straps which Peak Design carries. They are versatile and easily attach themselves to any equipment, be it camera or other accessories by Peak Design. In the field, especially when carrying two cameras, one on each shoulder as cross overs on the body is just great. The accessories that clip to anything can now attach themselves to the tripod plate attached to the cameras for just such uses. All my attachments including a wrist strap are attached to my cameras.
